Bundesliga: FC Bayern wins the last test of the US tour against Milan with a commanding victory

FC Bayern Munich beat AC Milan 1:0 (1:0) in the last game of the US Tour. In Kansas City, Leon Goretzka (45+3) scored the decisive goal just before the change of side.

In a game that was quick at the beginning, Bayern gained more shares minute by minute and were decisive in the first 30 minutes. Milan was rarely really dangerous, but if it was, it was really dangerous.

After 23 minutes it was Krzysztof Piatek who dribbled to the baseline and played a return pass to Daniel Maldini. His shot just went over the crossbar. At the end of the first half Milan was more dangerous and caused Alphonso Davies problems on the left side.

The first and only goal of the game was nevertheless scored by Bayern. Kingsley Coman shifted to Joshua Kimmich, who found Goretzka with an outstanding pass. The midfielder did not let himself be asked for long in the duel with Gianluigi Donnarumma.

In the second half the game became a little more confusing. Coman was laid by Hakan Calhanoglu, it almost came to a herd formation. After 65 minutes Niklas Süle made a serious mistake in the game structure, but Sven Ulreich could parry one against one with Patrick Cutrone.

Towards the end of the match Fiete Arp (82nd) and David Alaba (90th) scored further goals, which were whistled back due to a hand game and an offside position.

FC Bayern will end their US tour and return to Munich. Niko Kovac will hope that the muscular problems with Serge Gnabry and Javi Martinez, as well as Robert Lewandowski, who was taken out of the starting eleven shortly before the kick-off, will not prove to be too difficult.

FC Bayern line-up: Manuel Neuer (46th Sven Ulreich) – Joshua Kimmich (46th Ivan Mihaljevic), Niklas Süle, Benjamin Pavard, Alphonso Davies – Corentin Tolisso (46th Thiago), Renato Sanches (59th Sarpreet Singh), Leon Goretzka – Thomas Müller (80th Angelo Stiller), Fiete Arp, Kingsley Coman (59th David Alaba)
