Minutes of VAR chaos at Atleti

Atletico Madrid and FC Sevilla are going strong in the first half. Four goals and big VAR chaos cause discussions.

There was a lot going on in the first 45 minutes between Atlético Madrid and FC Sevilla.

Not only did the fans get to see four goals in the first half of the 2:2 (2:2) draw.

In between, the 60,422 spectators at Wanda Metropolitano had to wait several minutes for a decision from referee Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez several times.

But first things first: Luuk de Jong from Gladbach had put Seville ahead in the 19th minute.

After a supposed handball by Sevilla’s Diego Carlos in his own penalty area and a subsequent foul on Atletico youngster Joao Felix in the 26th minute, the impartial player then discussed the matter with his video assistants for a few minutes before watching the scene on the edge of the pitch.
