FC Barcelona can chill the sparkling wine for the championship party. The Catalans won Deportivo Alaves 2:0 (0:0) on Tuesday and extended their lead over pursuers Atletico Madrid to twelve points.

Should Atletico lose their home game against FC Valencia on Wednesday, Barca would not be able to take the 26th league title because the semi-finalist of the Champions League won the direct comparison against Madrid (1:1/2:0).
