DFB Juniors: Thanks to Waldschmidt! U21 wins test against Poland

One week before their start in the European Championships in Italy and San Marino, the German U21 national team has regained its self-confidence. DFB trainer Stefan Kuntz’s team won 3:2 against the European Championship participant Poland.

The game in the training camp in South Tyrol was played over four times 30 minutes. Luca Waldschmidt of SC Freiburg (72., 112.) and Arne Maier (Hertha BSC) scored the goals for the German selection.

In the European Championship, which begins on Sunday (16 to 30 June), the defending champions will face Denmark (17.6.), Serbia (20.6.) and Austria (23.6.) in the group matches.
