Löw becomes brand ambassador at VW

National coach Joachim Löw will in future act as brand ambassador for the Volkswagen Group. This was announced by the main sponsor of the German national team on Monday.

Löw was to accompany the company “above all on its way into electromobility,” according to a statement by the automobile manufacturer.

“We want to inspire millions with electric mobility – just like the national coach with his new team,” said Jürgen Stackmann, Member of the Board of Management for Sales of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand. Löw fit “perfectly” into the group.

VW is fully committed to football in sports sponsoring. The Wolfsburg-based club supports the domestic Bundesliga club VfL, but also the DFB and UEFA as well as other associations and clubs worldwide.
