EL-Quali: Austria meets Apollon Limassol

Lucky draw for the FK Austria Vienna. In the third round of qualifying for the European Football League, the Viennese will face Apollon Limassol. The Austria will start at home on August 8th, one week later the decision will be made on August 15th.

Apollon Limassol had lost the first leg against Shamrock Rovers 1:2 away, but at home it was a thrilling thriller. Emilio Zelaya destroyed Limassol’s first leg result in minute 18, while Sasa Markovic raised it to 2-0 in the 64th minute. After Fotios Papoulis saw red after 67 minutes, Shamrock Rovers also scored their away goal, in persona Aaron Greene. The cards were reshuffled completely. The second qualifying round of the Europa League will be drawn on 19 June, more than a month before the first leg.
