Marcelo confirmed: Gave interest from Italy

Real Madrid’s left-back Marcelo has confirmed that Serie A clubs were interested in him this summer. “Italian clubs have asked me,” the Brazilian said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

But he can’t imagine moving to Italy. “I love Real, it’s my home and the best club in the world,” says Marcelo.

According to reports, Marcelo had been working on a move to Juventus Turin and Cristiano Ronaldo. “I can’t imagine wearing a Juventus jersey. I remain loyal to Real Madrid,” he stressed.
