Immobile would have liked Klopp to show “the real Ciro”

iro Immobile is in the prime of its career. The former Borussia Dortmund striker currently leads the prestigious Golden Shoe ranking. Remembered from his time at BVB as a striker flop, he is now one of the most unerring centre-forwards in the world. Nevertheless, the 30-year-old looks back wistfully on his time under former coach Jürgen Klopp.

“I wish he could have worked with the real Ciro,” Immobile said about Klopp in an interview on “Lazio Style Radio”. “We met at the wrong time in our career,” he added.
