PSG threatens Neymar failure against RB Leipzig

Paris Saint-Germain will be relinquishing Neymar in the Champions League game at RB Leipzig next Wednesday (9pm), according to French media reports.

The Brazilian star is out due to a thigh injury both for this Saturday’s league match at FC Nantes and against Leipzig, reported “RMC Sport”. The 28-year-old will also be absent from the points match against Rennes on 7 November, followed by the international break.

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel had replaced Neymar in the 26th minute of PSG’s 2-0 win on Wednesday in the Champions League match with Basaksehir Istanbul and described this as a precautionary measure. Tuchel mentioned the adductors as the cause of an unpleasant feeling with Neymar and expressed the hope that the offensive player was not injured.
