Haaland before leaving BVB? That’s it.

In January Borussia Dortmund secured the services of Erling Haaland. Since then, the 19-year-old Norwegian has been delivering one gala performance after another in the BVB jersey. Interested parties are already queuing up, especially with Real Madrid, the shooting star is constantly being linked.

Borussia Dortmund will apparently enjoy Erling Haaland for a long time to come. According to “Sport Bild”, the enlisted striker will remain with BVB in the near future on his own initiative. “Farewell is not a topic at all for him,” the paper writes.

The reason: Haaland only wants to join an international heavyweight if he is an undisputed regular and on a level with attack greats like Karim Benzema or Robert Lewandowski. Recently there have been rumours of an interest from Real Madrid.

Michael Zorc does not believe that other clubs are currently playing a role for the young Norwegian anyway. “Why should he be distracted? We have no discussions about him,” said the BVB Sports Director of the “Sport Bild”.

“I prefer to talk about how he ticks: Erling wants to improve permanently. He wants to improve every week, make progress. Because he feels that he still has development potential,” Zorc added.
