Simply royal – the German players at Real Madrid

In the second game after the Corona break, Atletico Madrid scored the first victory in Spain’s La Liga football league – and this was clearly lost at CA Osasuna. Barcelona also achieved a significant success

After the relaunch in Bilbao Atletico won his away game with Osasuna on Wednesday (17.06.2020) with 5:0 (1:0). Joao Felix scored a 1-0 lead (27th) for coach Diego Simeone’s team in half one. After the break, Felix (56th) and Marcos Llorente (79th) and Alvarao Morata (83rd) followed with a double stroke and Yannick Carrasco (88th). Due to the success, Atletico climbed to fourth place in the table with 49 points and thus to a Champions League place.

The gap to league leaders FC Barcelona is 15 points.
