Premier League: ManUnited confirms commitment of Swansea Jewel

Manchester United have secured the services of second-league attacking player Daniel James of Swansea City. As the Red Devils confirmed on Friday afternoon, an agreement has been reached both with the 21-year-old, who has already completed the medical check, and with Swansea.

United has not yet provided any further details on the transfer. James, however, will probably sign a five-year contract and cost around 17 million euros.

The Welsh international is United’s first newcomer since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as head coach of the sixth-placed league team in December 2018.

James, who made his debut for Wales senior national team in November last year, moved from Hull City to Swansea’s juniors in 2014. Last season, he played 38 competitive games for the club in which he scored five goals and ten assists.
