15th win in a row: Liverpool also handles West Ham

Team manager Jürgen Klopp celebrated the 15th victory in a row with FC Liverpool in the English Premier League and broke the 70-point mark.

In the catch-up game with West Ham United, the Reds won 2-0 (1-0).

After 24 games, the leaders have a 19-point lead over champions Manchester City (51), even 36 points more than record champions Manchester United and last year’s Champions League finalist Tottenham Hotspur and are 40 (!) points ahead of FC Arsenal – madness!

Mohamed Salah scored against West Ham with a penalty (35.) for Liverpool. After a counterattack Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain raised in London on the Egyptian’s presentation (52.).

“I am happy with the three points. But we could have done some things better,” Klopp said self-critically after the game. “The boys have shown exceptional football this season so far. Today was just a normal performance.”
