TSG 1899 Hoffenheim – Hellas Verona live today

Today, Thursday, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will meet Hellas Verona in a test match. Here you get all information about the game and the transmission.

For the TSG, a real test game double strike is on the cards today: After the match against Hellas Verona, the Kraichgau team will play against the Turkish first division team Trabzonspor.

Hoffenheim has been at the training camp in Windischgarsten, Austria, since 18 July and is also testing against the Italian first division team.

The game starts today, Thursday, July 25th. At 5 p.m. the kickoff will be at the HF-Stadion Bad Wimsbach.

The encounter between the Sinsheimers and Hellas Verona will not be broadcast live on free TV and will also not be offered on livestream.

The TSG will however keep you up to date on the club’s own Twitter account.

TSG will have to compensate for many retirements this summer. With Joelinton (45 million, Newcastle United), Kerem Demirbay (32 million, Bayer Leverkusen) and Nico Schulz (25 million, BVB), three top performers are leaving the club. In addition, left-winger Robin Hack will be sold to FC Nuremberg for 500,000 euros. Replacement goalkeeper Gregor Kobel will also be awarded to VfB Stuttgart for one year.

TSG has raised more than 100 million euros in this year’s transfer period, but the major reinforcements have so far failed to materialise. The most expensive new addition is Ihlas Bebou on the right, who came from Hannover 96 for 8.5 million and was provided with a contract until 2023. Also new in the squad of coach Alfred Schreuder is left wing Sargis Adamyan, who was brought in by Jahn Regensburg for 1.5 million.

Despite the many retirements, sports boss Alexander Rosen is aware that the squad must not lose too much quality. “We don’t sell players like goods. We don’t look at our account and then have a party. However, the fact that we finance ourselves in the long term through successful transfers is part of our philosophy. That’s a default since I’ve been working here. We regard the dimension that this has now reached as an award,” Rosen told SWR.

The Hoffenheim team has already tested twice in preparation and twice successfully. Against Eintracht Braunschweig there was a clear 3:0, while Jahn Regensburg was only narrowly beaten (3:2).
