Bundesliga: Kohfeldt's documents felted by FCB folder

Florian Kohfeldt from SV Werder Bremen was impressed by the performance of FC Bayern Munich. As an example, he led a scene from the Allianz Arena when a folder checked his files.

“In Munich a folder comes into the cabin and looks at your flipcharts. No other club in the world would take the liberty of doing that. This is irritating for an opponent,” Kohfeldt told the kicker. “I find that impressive.”

Kohfeldt considers such behaviour to be “totally legitimate” on the one hand, if the people of Munich had worked their way up to the position, but would also have been surprised and “impressed” on the other. “They have an uncanny power how to deal with you as an opponent, how to deal with the referee.”

The FC Bayern players overwhelmed Kohfeldt with their confidence in victory: “Simply this habitus: We will definitely win it. That’s pretty impressive. Because they really believe that, and they’re not just trying to pretend.”

In the semi-final of the DFB Cup Werder failed 2:3 against FC Bayern. “I won’t watch the cup final – I won’t do that to myself,” Kohfeldt said in the picture.

Overall, however, Kohfeldt was satisfied with the season: “A year ago we said that we wanted to stand for something – and we managed to do that. For offensive, attractive, courageous football.”

With a view to the future, the coach wants to compensate in particular for the departure of Max Kruse. But this has a positive side aspect anyway: “Now we are no longer in this dependency.”
