Gladbach’s Cuisance to the FCB? Eberl reacts

Published on

Manager Max Eberl of Borussia Mönchengladbach has at least indirectly confirmed an alleged interest of FC Bayern Munich in Mickael Cuisance. “I have also heard about this, but there is no concrete offer,” Eberl said to the picture.

The 19-year-old midfielder moved from AS Nancy to Gladbach in 2017 and will remain there until 2023. After a promising premiere season, Cuisance only made short appearances last season.

Most recently Eberl had reported in the Rheinische Post that the consultant of Cuisance would demand “something like a regular place guarantee”. However, the association could not give such a thing. Now an exit is conceivable.

Cuisance had completed a convincing preparation under the new coach Marco Rose, but was surprisingly missing in the squad when he won the DFB Cup against SV Sandhausen. According to the association, the reason for this was adductor problems.
