Bavaria: A Belgian as an alternative to Sane?

Bundesliga: Bavaria: A Belgian as an alternative to Sane?

FC Bayern Munich apparently has Yannick Carrasco in mind as well as Leroy Sane. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge expresses his confidence in Niko Kovac. The coach is said to have prevented Jerome Boateng from changing. Here you can find all news and rumours about FC Bayern.

According to Sport Bild, FC Bayern Munich is interested in Yannick Carrasco as well as Leroy Sane. The Belgian is currently playing in the Chinese Super League for DL Yifang. Only a few days ago, the 25-year-old had made it public that he wanted to leave the Middle Kingdom as soon as possible.

“There’s an offer on the table and negotiations with my consultant are going well. The club that wants me does the maximum to get me. They accept the basic conditions set by Dalian Yifang,” Carrasco told Het Nieuwsblad. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, however, it was FC Arsenal who were the target.

Around 30 million euros will be paid in cash. In China, Carrasco scored 14 goals since his move in February 2018 and gave eleven assists in 36 competitive games.

According to Sport Bild, Julian Draxler (Paris Saint-Germain) and Callum Hudson-Odoi (FC Chelsea) are also still a topic for the Bavarians. While Draxler recently ruled out a change in the summer of 2019, Hudson-Odoi’s signs, according to ESPN, are now pointing to extra time for the blues.

Sane himself had been opaque on Tuesday evening after the German national team played Estonia (8:0).

Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng was already in agreement with Paris Saint-Germain before the 2018 World Cup in Russia, according to Sport Bild. Coach Niko Kovac then vetoed the decision, despite the fact that the clubs agreed on a transfer in August. The coach was afraid he wouldn’t be able to find a replacement for Boateng.

This is said to have led to a break between the coach and the player. In October at the game against AEK Athens Boateng is said to have warmed up listlessly, Kovac did not change him. In the subsequent interview, the defender allegedly scolded sports director Hasan Salihamidzic.

“You have nothing to say to me, you wanted to get rid of me in summer,” Boateng is supposed to have said. According to Sport Bild, the relationship between Kovac, Salihamidzic and Boateng should remain tense. FC Bayern is probably ready to let the 30-year-old go for about 15 million euros.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, after long hesitant remarks in the Sport Bild, has placed himself behind coach Niko Kovac: “We have never had a strained relationship. We are always good, serious and honest with each other. Niko has known since November at the latest, since this grotesque 3:3 against Düsseldorf, that he can rely on the leadership crew here.”

He had made his previous statements “consciously in order to set a counterpoint”, said Rummenigge. He did not want to confirm differences of opinion with President Uli Hoeneß on the coaching question, but admitted that one was not always of the same opinion. “The public is always critical of this, but I regard it as a plus factor for FC Bayern. If we were only in each other’s arms here and had the same opinion on every subject, the club would never have been so successful”, Rummenigge classified.

Oliver Kahn will soon join the “Bavarian culture of conflict”. Rummenigge is delighted: “I think he will be a good successor. I think that he will be able to successfully steer the ship Bayern Munich, which has been on a very good course for a long time, as captain after his acclimatisation phase.”

Former Bavarian coach Ottmar Hitzfeld Kahn also expressed his confidence in the dpa: “I trust him to be able to take on a leading position at FC Bayern. He’s talking plain. He’s a leader guy. He has the Bavarian gene in him and the total identification with the club.”

Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman is slightly stricken for the summer break. The winged player had actually been scheduled for the starting eleven at the French national team’s away match in Andorra in qualifying for the European Championship 2020, but had to pass injured. Muscular problems prevented his use. The 22-year-old had to break off the warm-up and finally followed the game without being substituted.
