Bundesliga: According to FCB rumour: Kabak farewell confirmed

Sport Director Sven Mislintat of VfB Stuttgart has confirmed the imminent departure of central defender Ozan Kabak in talks with Sky. “There’s an exit clause, it’s in the market,” the 46-year-old said in the interview, continuing: “There’ll be a club that’ll pull them.”

The possibility that Kabak will remain in Stuttgart despite the relegation practically excludes Mislintat. “We don’t really think he could stay with us. You have to be realistic and sober about that,” said the former head scout of FC Arsenal.

However, it is not clear when the 19-year-old will change. However, there is already a time limit. “Of course, there are also limits to the rear, the clause is not valid forever,” Mislintat said.

Kabak only came to the Ländle last winter for a record eleven million euro payoff in Stuttgart, where he immediately got stuck in the central defence. The amount of the Turkish national player’s withdrawal clause is expected to be around 15 million euros.

Most recently, Kabak was associated primarily with FC Bayern. The Turkish TV station TRT Sport even ascribed the record champion a favourite role in the campaign for the services of the central defender. The new season in Munich’s defence headquarters will see a radical change in the game following the commitments of Kabak team-mates Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez.

In view of the change from Mats Hummels to Borussia Dortmund and the uncertain future of Jerome Boateng, who was suggested by President Uli Hoeneß to make a change this summer, the Bavarians could well do better on the transfer market when it comes to interior defense.
