Valentino Lazaro has apparently agreed with Inter Milan on a transfer this summer. The 23-year-old wingman is currently under contract with Hertha BSC and his working paper runs until summer 2021.
Now Sky reports that Lazaro is aiming for a change to Inter. The Nerazzurri only have to agree with Hertha on the transfer fee. The citizens of Berlin are to demand 25 million euros for the native of Graz, while Inter offered 16 million euros.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inters neo-trainer Antonio Conte has already met with Lazaro to tell him his plans for the coming season.
Last season Lazaro played 34 matches for Hertha and scored ten scorer points: He scored three times himself and prepared seven more goals. Lazaro moved from FC Red Bull Salzburg to Hertha in the summer of 2017 – initially as a temporary player, before the Berlin-based Lazaro signed the contract last summer.
Although ÖFB U21 trainers repeatedly insisted that Lazaro be called to the EM squad, the latter did not participate. “After this intensive season, a break is quite good for me, and the boys who have qualified should also have the chance to play,” he said before the two European Championship qualifying matches of the A team against Slovenia and North Macedonia.
