The AS Rome apparently wants to make club icon Francesco Totti the new sports director. That reports the Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday
The 42-year-old, who ended his playing career in 2017, will replace Spaniard Monchi, who left the club in March.
As sports director Totti will have to look for a coach instead of Claudio Ranieri.
The latter had announced that he would no longer be available to the club after the expiry of his contract on 30 June.
