The Italian first division team AS Rome does not come to rest. After the separation of coach Claudio Ranieri and captain Daniele De Rossi, club icon Francesco Totti is likely to say goodbye to the Roman club.
The separation will be announced at a press conference on Monday, reported the Gazzetta dello Sport.
Totti, who spent 25 years at AS Rome as a player and manager, is not satisfied with the management of US club boss James Pallotta. Most recently, the 42-year-old had shone with absence at a meeting of the Roma management, which had fuelled initial speculation.
Totti had sharply criticized the break of the club with De Rossi. Since the end of his player career in 2017, Totti had held a managerial position with the Romans.
