Coach Maurizio Sarri has asked FC Chelsea for its release. According to information from SOCCERSCORE and Goal, the Italian is in agreement with Juventus Turin.
Sarris advisor Fali Ramadani informed the Blues leadership team on Friday morning that his client wanted to change. Sarri had always stressed that he would not decide on his future until after the end of the season.
The club have taken note of their coach’s wish to change, but have not yet decided what to do with Sarri.
The coach can look forward to an engagement with the Italian serial champion Juventus. There is an oral agreement that Sarri would earn seven million euros a year at Juve. Juventus had recently separated from Massimiliano Allegri.
Sarris’s contract with Chelsea runs until 30 June 2021, when he took over the club from Antonio Conte last summer and led the Blues to third place in the Premier League. On Wednesday, Sarri won the Europa League with Chelsea (4-1 against Arsenal London).
