The Italian first division team AS Rom has extended the contract of offensive player Cengiz Ünder until 2023. This was officially announced by the Giallorossi on Thursday.
According to media reports, the expansion of his working paper will double the salary of the 22-year-old Turkish national player. Instead of one million euros a year, it will probably earn two million euros in the future.
Ünder had moved from Basaksehir in Istanbul to Rome in 2017. He has played a total of 65 compulsory games (14 goals) for last year’s sixth in Serie A so far.
On Wednesday, the Roma had already tied Nicolo Zaniolo, another talent, to themselves for a long time. The 20-year-old Italian extended his contract until 2024.
