Serie A: Milan makes use of Real Madrid

Left-back Theo Hernandez moves from Spanish record holders Real Madrid to Serie A at AC Milan. The clubs have yet to announce the transfer, but the Lega Calcio have already announced it on their official website.

Hernandez initially hires for one year on loan in Milan. Then a purchase obligation takes effect and Milan will firmly bind the brother of the new Bavarian star Lucas Hernandez for a redemption of 20 million Euro in 2020.

Theo had only switched from Atletico Madrid to the Royals in the summer of 2017 for 30 million euros, but could never really gain a foothold there. In the past season it was therefore also lent to Real Sociedad.

With the commitment of Ferland Mendy, who will come from Olympique Lyon for 48 million euros to replace Marcelo in the medium term, there is no longer any room for Theo in the position of left-wing defender. Bayer Leverkusen and the SSC Naples were also recently associated with the 21-year-old.
