Juventus has apparently reached an agreement with Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku. The transfer by Paulo Dybala, who would have to make room for Lukaku, but who does not necessarily want it, could become problematic.
As the Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Lukaku and Juventus have roughly agreed on a contract. Manchester United would be open to letting the Belgian centre forward go. The Red Devils are currently demanding 83.5 million euros, while Juventus offers 65 million euros.
However, according to the report, Juventus would have to sell Dybala before Lukaku could be included in the squad. The Argentinian could bring in the necessary money and would free up squad space as well as the necessary salary budget for Lukaku.
After talks with new coach Maurizio Sarri, however, Dybala is supposed to assume that he will stay. This makes an exchange deal with Manchester United as difficult as a recent move by English media to Tottenham Hotspur.
On top of that, Juventus is under time pressure. Inter Milan has been working for some time on a transfer from Lukaku. Coach Antonio Conte is desperate for the striker, but here too the transfer fee is still a problem.
