Serie A: Higuain probably doesn't want to leave Juve

Striker Gonzalo Higuain apparently has no desire to leave Juventus Turin and, despite a possible move to AS Roma, would prefer to stay with the old lady.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juve and the Roma have already agreed on a transfer of the former Argentinian national player, but the latter is said to have other plans. According to Tuttosport, Higuain would rather stay in Turin, where he is still under contract until 2021.

Apparently, the Argentinian now hopes to be considered again under former Chelsea and current Juve coach Maurizio Sarri. Juventus, however, wants to get rid of his player in order to remove him from the payroll and to generate income after hiring 75 million Euro man Matthijs de Ligt. Therefore one is probably even prepared to make Higuain a farewell with a severance payment of two to three million palatable.

Alternatively, there would probably be a contract extension with a subsequent loan to Rome, where both clubs would share the salary and the Roma would receive a purchase option of 27 million euros in addition to a loan fee of nine million euros.
