CR7 apparently buys world’s most expensive car

After winning Serie A, Cristiano Ronaldo apparently rewards himself with a late Easter present. According to media reports, the 34-year-old Portuguese has his sights set on a high-priced sports car.

According to Mirror, Juve striker and series A shooting star Cristiano Ronaldo intends to buy the Bugatti “La Voiture Noire”. This is said to be the most expensive new car ever built.

The black luxury car is said to have cost an estimated eleven million euros. For Ronaldo, however, the expensive price is bearable: his annual salary at Juventus Turin alone is 30 million euros, plus additional income, for example from sponsorship contracts.

The car is a tribute to an earlier Bugatti model from the late 1930s. The new edition was built on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the originally French automobile company. Like its predecessor “Chiron”, the super sports car is said to have 1,500 hp under the bonnet, 420 km/h the car is said to be fast.

However, Ronaldo has to be patient until the first trip: The sports car is not finished yet, there are still little things to be changed on the prototype. The Portuguese will not be allowed to drive the Bugatti until 2021.

Ronaldo already has two Bugatti sports cars in its driveway. In addition to the Bugatti Veyron (approx. 2.3 million euros), the former real star had the Bugatti Chiron cost a proud 2.86 million euros.
