The future of Sami Khedira does not lie with Juventus Turin. According to Sky, a change was suggested to the 2014 world champion. A return to the Bundesliga is also under discussion.
Allegedly, the Bianconeri are already letting Khedira go for a single-digit million-euro transfer, even though the 32-year-old is still under contract until 2021.
In addition to clubs from China, the USA, Qatar and Turkey, two clubs from the Bundesliga are also said to have shown interest. However, concrete negotiations are still pending. One hurdle is Khedira’s high salary, in Italy he collects four million euros a year.
The old lady strengthened herself in the central midfield with the free Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain) and Aaron Ramsey (FC Arsenal). The new coach Maurizio Sarri will also have Miralem Pjanic, Emre Can and Blaise Matuidi at his disposal on this position.
Khedira only played 17 games last season, mainly due to several injuries and heart problems. In total, he has run 87 times in Serie A for Juve since his change in 2015. The Swabian by birth has 21 gates and nine templates.
