The interest in Boli Bolingoli continues. The Belgian, who can occupy any position on the left wing, is said to have aroused the interest of the SSC Napoli among other clubs.
The 23-year-old is also on Celtic Glasgow’s list, and Burnley and Huddersfield are said to have already submitted bids. Napoli is likely to be looking for a successor to Mario Rui, who has played 31 left-back positions in the past season and is flirting with a transfer to AC Milan.
In the past season Bolingoli played 42 compulsory games for the Hütteldorfer team and contributed two goals and five assists. His contract with Rapid runs until summer 2021.
That the Belgian sooner or later wants to change to a top league is no secret. In the SOCCERSCORE interview last summer, he said, “I have the potential to get very far in my career. Bundesliga, Premier League. I have the quality for it. But to get there, I have to work incredibly hard. First celebrate success with Rapid, then you’ll see.”
