100 million, Milinkovic-Savic before switch to Juve

Series A: 100 million: Milinkovic-Savic before switch to Juve

Series A is the first major change of summer: According to a report by Sky Sports Italia, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is facing a change from Lazio Rome to Juventus Turin. The transfer fee should be in the three-digit million range.

The Italian serial champion had already made intensive efforts last summer for the Serbian international, but according to Lazi President Claudio Lotito, he had even turned down an offer of 160 million euros.

Now the sum should be in the range of 100 million euros, according to information from Sky Sport Italia, the midfielder and Juventus Turin have already reached an agreement in principle.

The change comes as a surprise because Milinkovic-Savic only extended his contract with Lazio until 2023 in the autumn of last year, thus putting a stop to speculation about the change.

“Last year there were many rumors that I would go, but I stayed,” Milinkovic-Savic explained after the match against Bologna on Monday. “I’m still hearing rumors, but my contract is four years from now. We’ll see.”

In the current season, the 24-year-old will score a total of five goals and four submissions in 31 league games, and Lazio will be eighth outside the international standings before the final matchday. With their cup win over Atalanta Bergamo, the Romans will also be playing in the Europa League next season.
