Chelsea FC have reached an agreement with Real Madrid on the transfer fee for the transfer of Eden Hazard. According to information from Goal and SOCCERSCORE, the Belgian costs the royals a basic amount of 100 million euros, which can rise to 140 million euros with corresponding bonus payments.
At the beginning of the week, Chelsea’s Marina Granovskaia and real boss Jose Angel Sanchez had met in London for negotiations that produced a mutually acceptable result. The official announcement of the transfer is therefore imminent. Real would like to present Hazard in the coming week.
Hazard, who is currently preparing for the European Championship qualifiers with Belgium’s national team, had turned down several offers from Chelsea to extend his contract. With his move to Madrid, the Belgian receives a significant salary increase.
After Eder Militao (Porto) and Luka Jovic (Eintracht Frankfurt), Hazard will be the third Real newcomer of the summer. Last season he scored 16 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League.
