Santos superstar Rodrygo Goes has reported that the uncertainty as to whether he will be able to say goodbye to his club’s fans before moving to Real Madrid has made things difficult for him. “The agreement on how to proceed has been in place since this morning. That night I threw up,” he said at the weekend premiere.
“I think that was the uncertainty as to whether I could stay here and play or not,” added the 18-year-old, who is also called “the new Neymar” in Brazil, in view of his complaints. In December 2018 Rodrygo had signed with the royals for a redemption of 45 million euros and will be the counterpart to Vinicius Jr. on the right wing from summer onwards.
Although the Brazilian season has just begun, Santos will soon be leaving for Madrid. “I wanted to stay until June 12 and play the classic against Corinthians. And until then I will stay”, Rodrygo was looking forward to his personal highlight at the last gig.
