Shooting star Vinicius Junior prefers to play with his club mate Karim Benzema than with the superstars Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. This was explained by the 18-year-old in an interview in the programme “Aqui com Benja” on the Brazilian television channel Fox Sports Brazil.
“That’s a difficult question,” Vinicius replied when the moderator wanted to know whether he’d rather storm alongside Messis or Ronaldos. “I’ve never played with either of them, so I can’t judge that. As of today I choose Benzema”, the attacker drove up.
Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2018 and was therefore unable to play with Reals Reals record scorer Ronaldo. The Portuguese hired Juventus Turin that summer.
The Brazilian does not deny that at least one of the two elite attackers mentioned belongs to the most influential figures in football: “The whole world knows that he is one of the best of all time,” the youngster admitted with a view to Messi.
The matches against the Argentinean last season were particularly memorable: “Playing against Barcelona is always something special”.
