Goalkeeper Luca Zidane, son of Real Madrid’s head coach Zinedine Zidane, is facing a loan from the royals to second-league promoted Racing Santander according to media reports in Spain.
The 21-year-old has most recently played in the second team, Real Madrid Castilla.
Zidane senior (47), 1998 World Champion and head coach three times in a row with Real Champions League winners, is relying on Costa Rica Keylor Navas, Belgium Thibaut Courtois and Ukraine U20 World Champion Andrej Lunin for goals in the new season.
Luca Zidane has only played one game for Real’s first team so far.
