Denis Suarez moves from FC Barcelona to Spanish league rivals Celta Vigo. As both clubs officially announced, the 25-year-old signed a four-year contract in Vigo.
The replacement for the midfielder, who was loaned to FC Arsenal last season, amounts to 12.9 million euros and could rise to 16 million euros with bonuses.
At the Gunners, Suarez only had six partial appearances and could not score a goal. After the season, Unai Emery left the Suarez purchase option of 20 million euros unused and sent the Spaniard back to Barcelona, where he had a contract until 2021.
Suarez had already played for Celta in his youth. In 2011 he left Galicia at the age of 17 for Manchester City, which sold him to Barca in 2013.
