The series of burglaries at Madrid football stars does not end. According to Spanish media reports, Lucas Vazquez of the Spanish record champion Real Madrid is the next victim of the thieves.
After Real coach Zinedine Zidane, midfielder Isco and Atletico pro Alvaro Morata, Vazquez is the fourth known burglary victim in a week.
The break-in allegedly happened while the 27-year-old was on holiday with his family in Ibiza. No details were disclosed about the value of the stolen items.
On Tuesday evening, both Zidane and his midfielder Isco were victims of burglaries. In the absence of Zidane, who was on holiday, the perpetrators entered his villa on the outskirts of the city centre. Isco was with the Spanish national team during the burglary at his home in Madrid’s noble suburb Pozuelo de Alarcon.
Atletico pro Morata had already been attacked last Friday during the Iberians’ qualifying game in the Faroe Islands. Two armed and masked perpetrators had penetrated the villa in the noble district Mirasierra in the north of Madrid. There were Morata’s wife Alice and the eleven-month-old twins Alessandro and Leonardo. Morata’s family escaped with horror. The perpetrators stole objects from the house, the police made no statements about the value of the booty.
