Borussia Dortmund parted with striker Alexander Isak in the summer. After a short period of settling in at his Spanish club Real Sociedad, the young Swede is now proving just how dangerous he is. At BVB, the 20-year-old should therefore not be completely out of his mind.
The Black and Yellow had agreed to keep the transfer details confidential with the San Sebastián club. However, it was not long before Spanish media reported on agreed clauses.
According to the sports newspaper AS, Real Sociedad paid Isak a transfer sum of between seven and eight million euros. “Sky reports 6.5 million euros. In return, however, BVB is said to have secured a buy-back clause. This is said to amount to a proud 30 million euros.
BVB also has a so-called matching right. This right allows the district club to go along with every offer that is received for Isak in the future, in order to win the bid. Dortmund is therefore likely to closely follow the development of the centre forward, a return to the Bundesliga is therefore not excluded.
