The French world champion Antoine Griezmann has left his future open after the already announced farewell of Atletico Madrid.
“I don’t know, that’s a good question,” he replied to the reporters after the 2-0 win of Equipe Tricolore against Bolivia on Sunday when asked about his future club. “We’ll see. All in good time.”
In May, the 28-year-old announced his intention to leave the Rojiblancos after five years to take up a new challenge. From 1 July it will be available for a sum of 120 million euros thanks to the exit clause.
Griezmann has been associated with FC Barcelona in particular, but lately there have been many different reports. According to Sport, some players are said to have spoken out against the Frenchman, according to Cadena SER, the deal has been signed and sealed since March.
