Midfielder Fernando will transfer from Turkish champions Galatasaray to Spanish first division club FC Sevilla for 4.5 million euros. This was officially announced by both clubs on Friday afternoon.
Fernando receives a three-year contract with Seville until 2022. The 31-year-old Brazilian moved from Manchester City to Istanbul in 2017 for six million euros.
Fernando played a total of 58 compulsory games for Gala (four goals) and won the Turkish championship title twice and the Turkish Cup once.
Before joining Galatasaray, Fernando played for Manchester City for three years. The English had taken him for 15 million euros from FC Porto, where he was under contract from 2007 to 2014.
