Former world-class striker Thierry Henry is a coach candidate for the Spanish first division team Real Betis. Despite Henry’s catastrophic results at his first AS Monaco head coach’s station, the tenth-placed LaLiga player has kept an eye on FC Arsenal’s legend, according to a Mirror report.
Betis had already asked Newcastle Uniteds for Rafael Benitez to replace Quique Setien, who is retiring, but he was not interested.
Henry will now be the next club boss candidate, although the Frenchman was fired in Monaco this season after only three months and eleven defeats in 20 games.
Real Betis could also be facing a change in their squad as a result of the coaching change, as several key players such as Giovani Lo Celso and Junior Firpo are associated with top foreign clubs.
