Barca and Valencia: Poker around Rafinha

Published on

According to information from SOCCERSCORE and Goal, Spanish Cup winners FC Valencia are in negotiations with FC Barcelona over a transfer from midfield all-rounder Rafinha. The demanded transfer fee for the Catalans will be between 15 and 20 million euros.

Rafinha’s contract in Barcelona only runs for one year until the summer of 2020, which is why the Spanish champion would like to sell the Brazilian this summer in order to get a decent replacement for him.

The latest offer from Valencia is around twelve million euros. The Blanquinegros are interested in a speedy conclusion to the negotiations, as more clubs are keeping an eye on the Brazilian.

In the past, the brother of Bayern star Thiago was plagued by injury again and again. In the past season, he only played five games in LaLiga and could not play a single game from November due to a cruciate ligament rupture. However, he should be fit again for the summer preparation.
