Real Madrid are apparently negotiating with FC Arsenal on a change of winger Lucas Vazquez. This was reported by the Spanish sports newspaper AS. Besides the English, FC Bayern should also be interested in the Spaniard.
According to the report, there are 32 million euros to be paid, which could increase to 35 million euros through further bonuses. The deal between the Gunners and Real could go through at the beginning of next week, but there is still no agreement between the club and the player.
The Spaniard apparently favours a change to the Premier League, but has other offers from top European clubs on the table. FC Bayern, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to have kept an eye on Vazquez. The interest of these clubs could serve as leverage for the 28-year-old in the negotiations with the North Londoners.
Following the commitments of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Rodrygo, coach Zinedine Zidane Vazquez seems to have said that he will be infrequent next season. In order to increase his chances of participating in the European Championship with Spain next year, he is now aiming for a change.
The right-winger has played for Real Madrid since his youth and has remained loyal to the royals except for a brief visit to Espanyol Barcelona. In the past season, Vazquez scored five goals and four templates in 47 competitive games. The national player usually started from the bench.
