England’s record champions Manchester United are looking for a long-term overtime with goalkeeper David De Gea and are supposed to convince him to stay with them with a substantial pay rise.
As the Times reports, the Red Devils offer the Spaniard a five-year contract with a weekly salary of almost 390,000 euros. This would almost be equivalent to a doubling of his earnings, currently De Gea collects a little more than 200.00 Euro per week.
De Geas’ current contract expires in the summer of 2020 and those responsible are afraid to lose the 28-year-old free of charge.
Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus Turin are considered to be interested in De Gea, which should now start talks with other clubs from 1 January 2020.
