Premier League: Spurs and Real discuss mega transfer

Tottenham Hotspur has apparently offered playmaker Christian Eriksen to Real Madrid. As Marca reports, Spurs boss Daniel Levy contacted Real’s CEO Jose Angel Sanchez last week to discuss a transfer.

The royals are said to have already been interested in the Danish international’s services last summer, but at the time the price of around 150 million euros was too high for the current coach Zinedine Zidane’s team.

Now the 27-year-old is probably allowed to move to Madrid for around 70 million euros, after he is already looking for a house in the Spanish capital, according to the Danish newspaper Fyens. The Eriksen contract in London runs until 2020.

After Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic, Eriksen could thus become the next prominent newcomer on the offensive. Real Madrid has already spent more than 300 million Euros in the current transfer window and in return has to sell some players like Gareth Bale.
