In the latest round of analysis in the English Premier League, an unnamed person was tested positive for corona virus by Tottenham Hotspur. A total of 1197 players and staff members were tested for COVID-19. The person who tested positive has to go into domestic quarantine for seven days.
No positive cases had previously occurred in the fourth test series. Since the beginning of May, five rounds with a total of 5079 tests have been carried out, 13 of which gave a positive result.
The Premier League plans to resume play on 17 June. Liverpool FC, with team manager Jürgen Klopp, are confident leaders, with nine matchdays to go.
