Superstar Paul Pogba has openly announced that he is considering a farewell to Manchester United. “I’m thinking about looking elsewhere for a new challenge,” the Frenchman admitted on Sunday in conversation with reporters in Tokyo. For months, the world champion has been associated with a change, with two clubs being mentioned particularly often.
“There was a lot of talk and a lot of thought. I’ve been in Manchester for three years now and it’s been great for me; some good moments, some bad ones, like everyone else,” said Pogba. “After this season and everything that’s happened this season, I think it might be a good time for me to take on a new challenge,” the midfielder said honestly. He was also of the opinion that the past season had been his best for the Red Devils.
In the past, Real Madrid and Pogba’s former club Juventus Turin were particularly associated with a transfer.
Pogba moved from Juventus to Manchester United in the summer of 2016 for 105 million euros, but never fully developed his skills there. In 135 games he scored 31 goals and prepared 29 more.
