World champion adviser Paul Pogba’s Mino Raiola has confirmed that his protégé Manchester United would like to leave this summer.
“Everyone in the club, from coach to owner, knows about Paul’s wishes,” Raiola told the Times, continuing: “Everyone knows Paul’s intention to leave. We’re in the process.”
Pogba had returned from Juventus Turin to his youth club in Manchester in 2016 for 105 million euros. However, he has never really been happy at United since then, and in mid-June the 26-year-old midfielder said publicly that now was a good time for a new challenge.
According to information from Goal and SPOX, Juventus is already preparing an offer to bring Pogba back to Turin, where he already played from 2012 to 2016. Real Madrid, led by coach Zinedine Zidane, are also interested in Pogba, whose contract with United dates back to 2021.
