Media: Leipzig star Forsberg may go in summer

Published on

Emil Forsberg was one of the big pillars at RB Leipzig in the past years. However, the chapter with the Saxons could come to an end in summer.

According to “Sport Bild”, those responsible at RB Leipzig have not yet given the Swede any signals that he will have to find a new club for the coming season. But the Bundesliga club would allegedly be willing to let Forsberg go.

According to the report, Leipzig is only demanding a payment of 20 million euros, a moderate sum in view of the working paper that is valid until 2022.

There is apparently no lack of interested parties: Tottenham Hotspur, opponents of Saxony in the Champions League round of 16, Manchester United, Arsenal, Leicester City and FC Everton are interested in the 28-year-old.
