Central defender Evan N’Dicka could leave Eintracht Frankfurt for the Premier League. The Liverpool Echo reports that the 19-year-old is an interesting option for Champions League winner FC Liverpool. In the Reds he would succeed Dejan Lovren, the Croat is about to switch to AC Milan, according to the Times.
N’Dicka came to the Main last summer from AJ Auxerre for 5.5 million euros. In his first season, the Frenchman was immediately convincing. In 32 compulsory games he was on the court from the beginning, in four more he was substituted. In February 2019, he was awarded the Rookie of the Month Prize in the Bundesliga for his strong performances.
Also its market value made a giant leap, meanwhile N’Dicka is traded with 25 million euros. PSG is also said to be interested in N’Dicka, but two weeks ago the Frenchman didn’t want to deal with the subject.
Liverpool allegedly demands 29 million euros for Dejan Lovren. Should there be a change, there would be only three central defenders left in the Reds squad. Allegedly too little for coach Jürgen Klopp, who demands back-ups for Virgil Van Dijk and Joel Matip and Joe Gomez respectively.
Besides N’Dicka, two other Bundesliga pros are under discussion according to the report: Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig and Timo Baumgartl from VfB Stuttgart are being observed more closely. Liverpool was also concerned with an undertaking given by William Saliba of AS Saint-Etienne.
