Liverpool for weeks without Keeper Alisson

Jürgen Klopp has to do without Liverpool regular goalkeeper Alisson for several weeks. The 26-year-old Brazilian suffered a calf injury 4-1 against Norwich City at the Premier League season opener on Friday.

“This will obviously take him out for a while,” Klopp said on Monday. However, Klopp did not want to give a more precise assessment of when Alisson could return.

In the European Supercup on Wednesday (from 21.00 in the LIVE-TICKER and live on DAZN) in Istanbul against the league competitor FC Chelsea, the Spaniard Adrian, who only last week switched from West Ham to the Reds without a replacement, will once again replace him.

Since the third goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is still on the road to recovery after a broken wrist, a commitment by 35-year-old Andy Lonergan is very likely, according to Klopp. The former Middlesbrough professional already trained with the Champions League winner in preparation.
